You use it to explore 3D websites.
Why haven't I heard of 3D websites before ?
The technology is very new, so there aren't many of them around ... yet.
Infinity, our new 3D browser is being tested prior to commercial launch.

Do I need broadband ?
No, Infinity format 3D websites are highly compressed and can be accessed via a dial up modem.
However, if a site you are visiting includes lots of integrated web pages and streaming video, as many will,
then you'll need a fast connection to get the full Internet TV experience.
What operating systems is Infinity compatible with ?
Infinity currently runs on Windows 7, Vista & XP.
Support for other operating systems will be available soon.
Can't I just use my existing browser ?

If you want to explore our 3D website, you'll need to install Infinity.
Installing Infinity is very easy !
You'll need a computer that's powerful enough as Infinity pushes your PC a bit harder than previous generation browsers.
Nothing too fancy, just a modern PC fitted with a compatible 3D graphics accelerator.

you can download Infinity using your computer's current web browser from here.

No problem !
Your 2D & 3D websites can co-exist on the same server.
You can easily embed some or all of your existing web pages in your 3D site.
When someone visits your website with a 3D browser, they see your 3D website.
When someone visits your site with a current generation 2D browser, they see your paged content, as normal.
How do we upgrade our website ?
You can purchase an Infinity Professional Development Kit and start building your new 3D website almost immediately.
A limited number of free development kits are currently available on a first come, first served basis.
To use Infinity Professional, you will need Autodesk's 3D Studio Max (version 6 or later)
and an experienced real-time 3D computer artist.
If you prefer, we can upgrade the site for you, to your specifications.
